Nurses

We have a highly skilled team of Practice nurses based at Clee Medical, who provide a wide range of treatments, advice and support to outpatients. Our nurses may be able to assist you without the necessity of the need of a doctor. All our nurses have a wide range of experience and regularly update their skills throughout training sessions. As a part of the primary health care team the nurses have a very important role and deal with many aspects of your care. If you wish to make an appointment, please contact the receptionists. The receptionists can help you decide whether it would be better to make appointment with the doctor or nurse. You can usually see the nurse much sooner than the doctor.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

    Tracy deals with the day-to-day financial running of the surgery. Tracy will also deal with any maintenance issues and orders both clinical and non-clinical supplies.

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients within the practice and are your initial contact point for appointments and general enquiries. Receptionists can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses and service the reception desk in the main waiting area and the call centre on the 1st floor. The team consists of Valerie, Megan, Elle, Sarah, Amy, Lucy, Chloe, Leonor, Stephanie, Charlotte, Kelly, Caitlin, Jade and Lauren.

Secretaries

The secretarial team of Joanne and Zoe works very closely with the doctors producing patient referrals and preparing medical reports.
