Clee Medical Centre participates in the training of Medical Students from the Hull & York Medical School.
This means that at any one time we may have up to eight students at Medical School in the Practice.
We also train recently qualified Doctors during their General Practitioner attachment. As part of this you may be asked to take part in a video consultation. If so, written permission will be required and it is totally your decision whether to allow filming or not. Only people directly involved in the assessment will see the video. You do not have to agree to your consultation being recorded, this is not a problem and will not affect you consultation in any way. Patients who do consent to having their consultation recorded can be assured that their confidentiality will be guaranteed, and the recording will be stored in a secure area.
We also train both pre and post registration Nurses across all the disciplines - Practice Nursing, District Nursing, Health Visiting & Nurse Practitioners as well as other health professionals. All patient contact with our students will be closely monitored.
