PPG Meetings for 2021
We are looking for new members to join our group!
To find out what we do, how we can influence changes in the future and support the community, please inform a member of the reception team.
The Patient Participation Group meet approximately every six weeks.
Patient participation will benefit both patients and the practice.
Having a PPG creates a connection between the practice and its patients; allowing open, constructive discussion and analysis of service provision and offering an alternative perspective on many of the topics relevant to general practice.
PPGs can give you an involvement with your practice and could give you a say in the workings of the Care Trust. These are some examples of what the group could be expected to be involved with:
If you think you would like to be part of our Group and be able to influence the future of your healthcare provision or would like more information about our PPG, please contact us and join the group at our next meeting.
How Do I Get Involved?
If you are 18 years of age or over, Simply ask a receptionist by calling on 01472 697257 or emailing email@example.com. We will arrange for the PPG Chair Person to contact you and answer your questions.
How Much Time Do I Have To Give?
The simple answer is as much as you would like to. Some members just come to the meetings, whilst others spend time in the surgery talking to patients. It is up to you.
Is My Opinion Valued?
Yes, without doubt. The Patient Group has direct access to raise concerns with the management of the Practice, a Doctor and a Nurse Practitioner also attend the meetings. The Practice is fully committed in listening to patients views.
To be recommenced: Nov 21
We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.
To help us with this, we are setting up a virtual patient representation group so that you can have your say. We will ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.
We aim to gather around a hundred patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.
If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please click the link below to open the sign-up form and complete all the fields.

If you prefer, you can download the sign up form as a pdf document, print it out, complete it and return it to the practice.

i came for my flu shot on Saturday 3rd October 2020 and was very very impressed with the very efficient way you had it organised this year. Heaps of praise on all members of staff ,other people i know who attend the surgery have said the same to me. Please can you do it this way in years to come . I have been a member of this surgery since i was born. 72yrs WELL DONE TO ALL STAFF.
My mother and I came to the surgery for our flu vaccines on Saturday. The service was amazing. On realising my parents were getting my wheelchair out of the car, the lady at the door asked if I would like someone to come to the car to give me my vaccine. This made a world of difference as my breathing is always affected when moving from one atmosphere to another. Thank you very much for your thoughtfulness. Unfortunately I do not have the names of either lady.
I have to say, that yet again, I have received excellent care from the nursing Team who have continued to take good care of me for years. A special mention to Adam, Maxine, Emma and the most comforting voice on the end of the phone with 'the results', Janice. The professionals I see, always make me feel comfortable and I feel like they care (though they see 100's of patients hence it is so hard not to be jaded, especially in these exceptional times) I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and for all they do in their daily work, which is exemplary at all times. Thank you all.
I would just like to bring to your attention the first class service which I have recently received from both the receptionist and the Doctor at Clee Medical Centre regarding my recent and ongoing medical problem. I telephoned the Centre on Friday 4/08/17 and spoke with the receptionist requesting to see a Doctor, and I found the lady in question to be very courteous, professional, and helpful, asking me to "come into the Centre" on that afternoon "to see Mr Doctor Ravin Munjal". Doctor Munjal examined me, prescribed medication and requested tests which included a fasting blood test that was carried out at very short notice, some 3 days later on Monday 7/08/17 by a very friendly and knowledgeable male nurse. And now after only 7 days I have been diagnosed with Helicobacter, and although the symptoms are very uncomfortable and unpleasant, the very quick service and diagnosis i received has greatly put my mind at rest, and I am so grateful for that. I have been informed that I still need a second blood test but I am now on the required medication to hopefully combat this illness, so it only leaves me to say Thank you to everyone at the Centre who has been there for me over these past 7 days.
Mr Stephen Sparkes
A quick note to say thank you very much to Tracey at reception and Nurse Jess for great service for fitting me to dress a weeping wound. Please pass on my sincere appreciation for their care and flexibility. It is reassuring to note this professional service.
Many thanks. Have a great weekend.
